Animal Planet Event

Last weekend we went to the Animal Planet Event here. There were surprisingly few animals but lots of people. Which is what Elia likes to look at anyways. She LOVES to people watch. She chats up a storm when we are home and has discovered she can make all kinds of noises. When we are out however, she is so quiet and just stares at everything.

We did see some amazing Frisbee dogs.

Elia enjoys her Spot book quite a bit! She is sitting up like a champ these days.

I went to a clothing swap with a bunch of mothers I have met here. It was great. You bring clothes that don't fit your kid anymore and swap for sizes you do need. Elia is already in 9-12 month stuff!! We got this adorable sleep outfit. And we probably have a little too much fun at her expense, but do you remember Violet from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory?? HAHA. We couldn't resist. She is really going to hate us when she is older!

Now, let me remind you that Elia is only four and a half months old. She is in SUCH a hurry to do everything! She has started to sit up! She also has her first tooth coming in. Before we know it she will be all grown up and moving out.

This was World Breastfeeding Week and the local chapter of La Leche League had a picnic.

Several businesses made donations for a raffle. Some of my new friends here encouraged me to donate a gift certificate for a centerpiece. So I did an example of a Thanksgiving centerpiece and donated a gift certificate. Unfortunately they did not have the turn out that they expected and so the raffle was postponed for the next La Leche meeting, where we hope more woman attend. (There is a chiropractic package I really want to win! LOL) So I had hoped to advertise a little more but it was good practice and I gave the arrangement to a woman that just moved into a brand new house as a house warming gift. It also really "put it out there" and I was considered a REAL business!

Four Months old!

Elia is four months old today! She is so hilarious. Everyday she makes a new noise or does a new trick. We are enjoying every minute of it!
