Family pic Fail!

I think I have given up on a taking a good family picture. We can never get Elia to stay still or to smile if someone else is taking the picture. My dreams of a great Christmas photo card is pretty much dead.

Fall Fun

A year ago we went to Priddy farms with our playgroup and we had an even better time this year. Getting pictures of Elia has proven to be a challenge lately because she is always on the move. i got a few good ones.
She was in a much better mood after we ate lunch and I took her sweater off!

Mama Y Wawa

Since I don't already have enough on my plate, I have started another small business. It is called Mama y Wawa. Wawa is Quechua for baby. They are accessories for mother and child. I work with mostly felt and fabric to creat hair clips and pins. I recently did a craft show and it went pretty well. The rest of the inventory will go into my Etsy store.

Bike rides!

Josh is super excited to have found a bike seat for Elia. He went right out to get her a pink helmet and even though it was freezing out, took her on a bike ride. She loves it of course.

Mommy car!

Since we moved much further away from Josh's work, we had to get another car. We went with a used Volvo. It is great! I am ready for car pools and soccer games.

Hip Hop baby

Elia never ceases to amaze us with her capabilities. Somehow she has learned to Hip Hop dance! She has some great moves!

Mowing the Lawn

One of the first things Josh HAD to do when we moved in was get a lawn mower. Admittedly the lawn was in much need of tending to but we literally moved in this day. We found a good used one on Craigslist and he was giddy with accomplishment having mowed HIS own lawn for the very first time. It was adorable.

Moving

I took the first picture when we moved from South Carolina to here. She was only five weeks old! The second picture is when we moved into our new home! She is 17 months! Can not believe it is the same little girl!?

Our first House!

Josh and i have bought our first house. We are officially home owners. It is a cute three bedroom ranch in Memphis. We love it. Elia LOOOOOOVES it. No more rude neighbors living above or below us. Hardwood floors for her to ride on all her toys. Plenty of room for her to play inside and out. Her room is actually bigger than ours. I have a room that is all mine and I have set up as a studio. Josh has his own room too until we have another baby! We are both in such a daze in this picture because it feel like a dream!
