I turned one last week! It was sooooo much fun. My Grandma Liz came to visit and we had the best time. She is really fun to play with. I have grown up so much since she saw me last and can do so many new things. I showed her how I love to read books and to make lots of noises. I showed her all the yummy food I can eat now and how great I am at walking.
And I have discovered running! What fun it is to go fast. Daddy and I love to play chase. It puts BIG smiles on our faces and Mommy love to watch. I also love to climb things. Mommy takes the cushions off the couch and it is like my own little playground. When we are at the park I love to climb the steps to the slide! Wish we had some stairs in our house. Mommy is not too crazy about me going too high though.
My new favorite word is "Uh Oh!". It seems to be pretty useful. I say it all the time. And "Bye Bye". I can do the wave too. I also love to play with Mommy's phone and say "Hello".
Being one is great! We had a big party. All my friends were there. We had so much fun. I got to eat cake! It was delicious and so very pretty. I was so glad my Grandma Liz was here. She helped me with my butterfly wings and set up the party. Mommy says I will get to have another party in Florida with more family next month! How cool is that!
I am super excited about all the stuff I will learn this month. I will keep you posted...
