Footsies
We had one of these places when I was a little girl where you go and can paint pottery. I always would get so stressed out because my sister's always turned out better than mine. She is so talented. Drives me crazy.
Anyways.....
We had a play date at one of these places and I made this for Elia. It is her feet!!!

Halloween Playdate
We have met some great Moms here and one of them I like to cal Super Mom. I think I have mentioned her here before. She has twins. She plans a great playgroup that we attend on Wednesdays. We do all sorts of fun things. Last week we went to a pumpkin patch. This week was a Halloween party.
These are some of Elia's buddies.

Trick or Treat
We went trick or treating at the mall near our house with some other families we have playgroups with. It was fun. Elia is getting some good wear out of her costume! She has two costume playdates this week and then we will meet Daddy at his office on Friday. You all will be sick of these pictures by then! I have loaded a new program and am able to do some cool new things with my pictures. So look forward to new formats. Remember you can click on the picture to see it bigger.

Our little Bug
Fall is my most favorite time of year. There are lots of festival this time of year and we went to a great one this weekend. It was so cute. They had craft booths, food, and lots of live music. Everybody knows I love that sort of thing. We actually spent the afternoon there, went home for a nap, and went back later on for the "Monster Mash" and costume contest.
Elia's Aunt Heidi got her this costume. Many people were not sure if she was a bug, an alien (when she didn't have the wings on), or a butterfly. She was pretty tired at this point too so she was a real trooper to indulge me in this long day!
There were lots of great costumes. I personally thought the robot was the best ( I totally making that for Elia some year!) but little Elvis won! He had glasses that had sideburns on them!

The Peabody ducks
I am late in updating the blog after my sister and brother in law's visit. I unfortunately got sick and am still recovering a week later. We did however have a GREAT time. Because I was sick, I was not as up on taking pictures as I usually am and didn't even get any pics of Heidi or Aaron. She got some but I can not figure out how to get them on here. So here a few that I took.
(yes those are leg warmers! SO cute)
Aaron had to work while he was here (a company he sells for has an office here) so Heidi and I had a wonderful sister sister visit on Friday. She brought the cutest Halloween costume for Elia so look forward to many pictures of that soon. Heidi and Aaron got to stay at the famous Peabody hotel downtown. This hotel has resident ducks! Everyday they come down from their home on the rooftop and spend the day in the fountain in the hotel lobby. People line up to see the fanfare in the morning when the ducks come out of the elevator. We enjoyed being tourists in our new town.
Graceland
We all went to Graceland while Heidi and Aaron were here. We actually did the short tour and I wouldn't mind doing it again since I felt so crummy and was out of it while we were going through the house. It was really fun.
The house is like a time warp! The furniture is amazing. So seventies.
The famous Jungle Room! They do not let you use flash in the house so all my pictures are horrible.
Elia had no idea she was in the presence of the King.
Graceland
There were several displays of his outfits. You could even buy a replica of a jumpsuit in the gift shop for a mere $3000!
This family was listening to Elvis sing Amazing Grace. I bet this guy bought a jumpsuit!
One of the people who works there said that people send flowers EVERY day. They have to rotate them out.

Six Months Old
Elia is six months old today! A half a year! I just can't believe it. She is incredible. People always say it goes by fast and it has been SUPER fast. Everyday I feel like she is another inch longer. She grows out of stuff in just a few weeks. It is almost impossible to find PJs that are long enough for her. I swear she is going to be over six feet tall.
"Gimme that camera mom!"
Elia is so curious about everything. She likes to hold things in her hands and she will sit there and stare at what she's got, turning it this way and that, inspecting every inch. She gets very frustrated when she realizes she only has two hands and can't hold three things at once. She does like to grab things with her feet too. Her favorite things to play with believe it or not are paper, (she is a very good grocery list holder), the tags on all of her toys, and my feet. She just started clapping too.
Six Months Old
"What?"
This is how we see Elia most of the time. She has never really taken to a pacifier. In fact if I give one to her now she will suck on the side of it. Not even the part that goes in your mouth. She instead prefers her hands.
