Theresa and Paul's wedding

Theresa and Paul's wedding was amazing. There was really bad weather for the first three days we were there, but the skies parted for the big day and was perfect. I worked really hard on the flowers and enjoyed every minute of it. Theresa is an amazing print maker and handmade almost every detail of the wedding. Elia had a great time being the flower girl and loved having Grandma Robin there too. I am not sure I will ever wear the Maid of Honor and floral designer hat at the same time ever again but it was for a great friend.

Fun with Cousins

We had a wonderful time at the wedding and then were off to visit family. Elia adored her cousins and had a great time playing with them.

Baby shower

I co-hosted a baby shower and was responsible for the cake and decorations. I had a ball doing it! I am really getting into these cakes.

This is Elia to a T!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I thought I would share this with you. It describes Elia exactly! I know I have not posted much lately. She only wants to nap once a day now so I have less and less "me" time. She is quite a handful! She is very active and loves to climb anything she can. She gets so proud of herself when she does something new like stack rings or blocks. She also has continued her love of music and has become quite a dancer! That makes me soooo happy. She also wants to communicate so much and I often find her sitting and "reading" books out loud. It is so cute. She is always babbling about something. She LOVES animals and watches the ducks in our pond everyday. We are gearing up for a big trip to Florida where we will be in my friend Theresa's wedding. Josh can not wait to take her swimming in the ocean.

Young Aries

Aries children have energy in abundance, are usually strong, active, and enthusiastic. You better be physically in great shape to keep up with the little Ram. They seem to never get tired and after a day full of physical activity, the Aries child keeps going while you might gasp for air.

Being curious and adventurous, little Arians want to know everything, explore, and investigate. Although young Arians can be quite sweet and affectionate one minute, they can be challenging and angry the next. They need a lot of reassurance, attention, and need to know they are loved. Being ruled by Mars, it is no wonder that they can display a hot temper but they can forget it as quickly as it came.

As natural born leaders, Aries children will take the lead in their group, be it at school, or college, or in their circle of friends. However, it can be difficult for them to lose and as difficult to learn how to share and that they cannot win every game.

Young Arians are a delight to be around, and they will certainly never bore you! Your favorite moments will be when you can jump into their fantasyland with them and get swept away by their courageous lead into the unknown. They have an untamed spirit that is always ready for adventure!

Elia went into the pool for the first time! Her Daddy was super excited about it.

Pony Ride!

One of our many fantastic playdates! We all met at Shelby Farms here and went on our first pony ride. Elia was not scared at all. She loved it of course. Being the independent girl she is, she did not want me to hold her. We have such a good time with our buddies!
